What makes you happy? Helping others with their fitness journey is one of the things that makes me happy.
One of my clients is in her 80s and she is faithful in coming two times a week with her daughter. Every time I see her it brings a smile to my face and really warms my heart. Why you ask? My mom was 89 when I lost her to congestive heart failure. As anyone, I loved my mom dearly!
My new client reminds me of my mom in so many ways. If my mom was alive, she would get on the Spin bike too. Today she told me she could even do the BARRE portion of the Spin/BARRE Fusion session she came in for. My mom would be the very same way.
I haven't asked her for her name because she is mom to me and I will do what I can to help her maintain her fitness journey. Where some people are afraid to get on the Spinner, mom and her daughter are not and will Spin with me for a one hour session and the Spin/BARRE Fusion session, which involves 30 minutes of Spin and 30 minutes of BARRE.
Now, mom is not expected to do the exact sets as her daughter and I do, but just for her to get on the Spinner and ride is great in itself because it is keeping her mobile.
Until next time!!
